Since the term “novel coronavirus” surfaced over a year ago, Baltimore Sun journalists have worked overtime to understand and explain the virus’ unpredictable path across Maryland’s economy, the government, education, your family, your lifestyle and, most importantly, your health.

Now, come face to face with these journalists as they take you inside what we’ve learned and what we still don’t know, in this exclusive event for Sun subscribers.

This special event is free to subscribers of The Sun and will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, at noon ET.

About the hosts

Meredith Cohn is a health and medicine reporter for The Sun. She came to the paper in 2000 after stints at The Virginian-Pilot, States News Service and the Hagerstown Morning Herald. She is a Terp.

Pamela Wood covers Maryland politics from The Sun’s State House bureau in Annapolis. She’s been with The Sun since 2013, and previously wrote for The Capital, the Maryland Gazette, the Daily Times (Salisbury) and Gannett News Service. She grew up in Howard County and graduated from the University of Maryland.

Christopher Dinsmore is The Sun’s senior editor for business + health. Chris joined The Sun from The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Virginia, where he was a business editor and writer for nearly 20 years. A graduate of the University of Virginia and Northwestern University, Chris rides bikes and stands on soccer sidelines in his spare time.

Andrea K. McDaniels is the deputy editorial editor for The Sun, where she is part of a three-person team that shapes the newspaper’s opinions on key local and national issues, and writes a column that takes on all aspects of life from the perspective of a Black woman. She also edits the newspaper’s metro columnist and TV critic. Andrea has worked at The Sun for 20 years, previously as a reporter covering business and health and medicine. She has also worked at The Charlotte Observer.
